I booked at the Surf Inn when my usual weekend getaway hotel was full for the weekend and it is now my new favorite spot. It's a about 10 minutes walking to the DMC and 20 to downtown, if you walk slow. Chopsticks is right next door and they have a pool. there was a free breakfast but I was never up early enough for it. I stayed in room twenty nine, which was a treat. At first, I was really confused as to why I was staying in this corner room that used a real key to get in, but the bathroom was amazing and the room was like being in a basement, it was wonderful! the other rooms look like normal hotel rooms but this one was like being in a small apartment and I loved it. My friends liked it too and we all have decided this is our new favorite place to stay. The only downside is that the walls seem a bit thin and the desk staff can be apathetic. Over all, I did enjoy my stay and I definately will be here again.
