The staff in reception was supposed to find us a first floor room, since I had just had knee surgery and did not want to cancel my trip. I asked when we arrived along with 20 other people, if it was possible to get a ground floor room. We were the last couple to get our room and it was on the second floor. Some of the other couples got ground floor rooms and they were in the same level of accommodations as we were. The assured us that they would try, but they never did find us a ground floor room although we called the desk on several occasions. Being in pain all the time does influence your satisfaction with the hotel I must admit. But the food was not that good. the service was not that good. The maid service was excellent, although the rugs were filthy. The hotel certainly did not rate a 3 star rating. My general opinion of the Pineapple was not good.
