Not happy

I had a few issues with this place. Being that I saw the reviews on how great Caravelle Resort was I was really looking forword to my stay. Upon entering my room 511 I was shocked to see a light fixture and a aircondition cover laying around on the floor. I put these items into a closet. I had my DO NOT DISTURB sign up all day. Come to find out someone entered my room and took them. Why are you going to enter my room without my knowledge!? Cigarette butts on the balcony floor. There was a sprite bottle left in the freezer. The place was clean but could use a DEEP cleaning. When I checked out I brought this to the attention of the front desk lady. Needless to say it seem to go one ear and our the other. The lady gave accuses for the things being remove that "there might of been a work order put in" I don't care. Do not disturb means just that. The deep cleaning issue she said "this is the time of year the do this" why give me a room that needs to be done. The other issues she said "why didn't you ask to be moved". When I checked in the assistant manger said 511 was the best room. I can just image what other rooms look like. Needless to say I won't be back, and make sure my family and friends won't use Caravelle Resort as their stay. So many other choices out there.
