We paid for a balcony room 2 months in advance, which wasn?t available on check in, and wouldn?t be for the week. Our room was dirty, with peeling wall paper, a dripping faucet, and a tiny window that looked out on a sooty wall. The hallways smelled like the Metro. When checking out in the morning to go to a different hotel the owner threw a temper tantrum because we were leaving, calling my husband a variety of vulgarities. And then handed us a bill for 2 nights at the premium rate. We were treated to a second temper tantrum when my husband calmly insisted on paying for 1 night at the posted standard rate. 2 weeks later they actually tried to charge us for yet another night because we cancelled in person, and not through email. Avoid this place like the plague.
