good and bad

This hotel was clean, the hot breakfast was nice, and for the most part the staff was friendly. The complimentary shuttle to the Chastain Park Amphitheatre (as well as other nearby locations) was the biggest plus! It wasn't some old car or even a limo. It was a stretch navigator which made my friends and I feel like VIP! We did have a problem with getting an early check-in. When I booked the room, I was told to call the day we were to check in to confirm. However, when I called at 11:30 that day I was told that no rooms were available yet but that I could check back later on. The lady that I spoke to on the phone was rude. We spoke to her again person once we made it to the hotel at around 1pm. She kept robotically repeating that check in time was 3pm and offered no apology that she could not accomodate us in any way. After speaking to the manager at 2pm and explaining that we traveled 8 hours and needed to be at our event at 4pm, we were given a room. How could all of the rooms still be dirty at 2pm when normal check in time was 3pm? Apparently, they weren't. Housekeeping had just not updated the computer system as I was told. Despite, the rough start I enjoyed my stay.
