The photos shown here must have been taken when the place was new because it sure doesn't look like that at all. The only good thing I can say about this hotel is the friendly young lady at the front desk. After spending a day and a half doing the Bourbon Trail, I was on my way to Lynchburg, TN and needed a hotel that offered laundry facilities. I made my reservation and after arriving and checking in, the first thing I had to do was turn the A.C. on -- it took most of the evening to get the room to a comfortable level. I went to do laundry where they were charging $* to wash & $* to dry. No soap/softener items were supplied nor even offered at the hotel, but was told there was a dollar store down the road, or she suggested using shampoo (which I did). I only did about half a load and the dryer still didn't get everything dry. This hotel is on a main 'drag' with a lot of truck traffic. I had to run the A.C. all night not only to drown out the outside noise but also to finish drying my clothes. While doing laundry I went to get some ice for drinks. Ice machine empty and not working. And, yes, the free continental brkfst leaves alot to be desired. Lots of cheap, sweet doughnuts, crappy bagels and lousy coffee. I would HIGHLY recommend staying someplace else.
