All-inclusive is the only way to go. At the "Palace Resorts" in Cancun, everything is First-Class . The moment you arrive, you are greeted with a cool, moist face towel and then at check-in you are presented with a champaign flute filled with some very good, cold "bubbly". They don't scrimp or cut-corners, however, if you want "Top-Shelf" liquors, all you have to do is ask for the good stuff like Crown or Tanqueray. It's all included in the booking price and so are the tips, (yes, no tipping unless you just can't help yourself because the service is so great!). Every night there is an excellent show or activity, yes,.....all-included. Also, there are several restaurants to choose from, not just one large dining hall. And the staff is so willing to please, they don't mind a bit if you order the T-bone steak entree with a side fillet of grilled grouper! Yes, again,....it's all-included. The desserts are, well,...."to die for", too. We really didn't want to leave and even though it was our third year in a row at a Palace Resort, (2nd time at the "Moon Palace"), we can't wait until next summer to go back again.
