This is our second stay in Victoria and we have stayed at the Scott both times. You can't beat the location, right next to the Provincial capital, one block from the inner harbor and the Black Ball Ferry Terminal -- you wouldn't need a car. It is a converted apartment building, so every room is large, with a full kitchen, real bedroom, etc. You could live in this hotel. The entire hotel is spotless, the staff is great, and there is a great basement floor with free pool table, free shuffleboard, card tables, etc., and a very nice and clean pool and hot tub. One final note: my son and I (combined weight 410 pounds) slept on the sofa sleeper in the living room and loved it! Best quality sleeper I have ever seen: great mattress, no sagging, no bars in the back, etc. Really unbelievable. Also got a roll-away for my other full-sized son and he said it was just as comfortable. Restaurant is very good, but a bit pricey. The entire place has a real nice Victorian old-world charm, just perfect for a stay in Victoria.
