If I could give the Fairmont 0 stars I would

Check in was easy and it was all down hill from there! I stayed in the Fairmont for 6 nights. I was only able to sleep 2 of those nights. The walls are made of kleenex and spit and EVERY sound is amplified echoed down the halls. I could hear telephones ringing and the subsequent conversations, doors closing, the elevator dinging, every conversation anyone within 4 rooms of mine had, everyone using the bathrooms, and, well, other activities people engage in while staying in hotels. It was like I was staying in really decrepit Motel 6. My view was of the air conditioner units on the roof. I ordered a club sandwich from room service the night of my arrival. A club sandwich and glass of water was $34. I went to Caffe Centro once and the servers were so rude, I chose not to go back. I would not recommend the Fairmont San Francisco to anyone I know. I would not stay in any other Fairmont property after my experience in this one.
