We had a great time at this hotel. It is really nice. Greatly located, just about a block from Gloucester metro station. Super neat and the staff was really helpful. Would highly recommend you use the metro to get there from the airport. It is a great bargain, since a taxi can go for about 50 pounds. Grab the metro right at the airport terminal, get into the Picadilly line (blue) and get off at Gloucester station. Will just have to roll your bags a bit and the streets are really fine to do it. There is a nearby Starbucks, but I will highly recommend you skip it and go instead to "Paul" for breakfast. It is a divine french style boulagerie (about two stores away from Starbucks and just in front of the metro station). The hot chocolate is amazing! If you want to eat in, get there kind of early since it has only a few tables and it gets really crowded. Another recommendation is that you use the supermarket right outside the metro station (wich again is just about a block away from the hotel) to get yourself bottled water and snacks, since they can be very pricey. A MUST is that on day 1, you get a city sightseeing tour hop on hop off bus. You can buy the ticket right at the hotel ?s front desk for the same price and there is a stop right around the corner. The downside on the hotel, our toilet didn't flush! Eventhough we reported it twice, it wasn't fixed. The maintainance guy said they were in the process of "renovating the toilets plumbing, but he hadn't got a chance to get to our floor". Another thing is that the room was quite small. I know its normal for European hotels, but since it is a Radisson you might expect it to be larger. On the other hand, the bathroom was a really nice size and the towel warming rack was a great surprise. I highly recommend it! Enjoy!
