My stay w/Park Shore *was* quite enjoyable and I would have recommended this hotel, especially if on budget & wanting to be right across from Waikiki Beach, unfortunately when I was unpacking I noticed a few items from my suitcase were missing. Check out was for noon and our flight did not depart until 11pm that night, so my BF and I stored our luggage with the concierge in an adjacent room to the check in/out counter. A few days later while unpacking and starting my laundry, I noticed I was missing 1 skirt, 1 shirt and 2 belts (NEW & unused). My BF and I did a THOROUGH room check - twice - after we had packed. SO! somewhere between my luggage being stored and my appartment, these 4 items were taken. I'm not actively accusing Park Shore staff of thievery, however, this situation seems a bit fishy and for this reason alone I will not recommend Park Shore. On another note I requested a late check out (1pm vs noon) and whomever I spoke with (male conceierge) stated this was acceptable. At 1245 I received a frantic call from front desk (female concerige) asking why we had not checked out. I informed her I was approved for an extended hour and would be out by 1pm. She stated they had this room booked and that we were to evacuate ASAP - not exactly the greatest way to end my holiday. Perhaps a stonger communication system within the Hotel is needed?
