It was a nice hotel. We ended up getting a ocean view and balcony, which was nice because of the view of coronado. We visited during the middle of the lobby reconstruction, so i can't really comment on that. Overall, the hotel was nice, with lots of amenities. A drawback is the $28 fee to park overnight.
