Using points was a headache. It took way too much time to book anything and we always felt like we were getting the run around. We were very disappointed that the main bar area was closed for construction. Also disappointed that some of the palace resort perks (free towels at waterpark and some shuttle services) were not available to Cancun Palace patrons because it is changing to a Hard Rock. When I booked my vacation I booked a palace resort vacation and should have received all ammenities of the resorts at the time I booked. On the upside, we had an awesome ocean view room that was convenient to the pool area--loved it!
