Did not get the room I paid for.

When we checked into this Fairfield Inn, we were told that our room (a prepaid room with 2 queen beds) was not available; first come, first served. We were told that the hotel was overbooked and the city was sold out. They offered us a room with a king size bed (not a true king size) and a roll away cot. With 4 in our family, there was not much room to move around and sleeping 3 in a bed was not comfortable. Spoke with a general manager at breakfast and he said that if an Elite Member comes in, they can bump you and take your room. This is not a way to make a customer happy (unless you're an Elite Member).
