In all my years of travel, this was by far the worst hotel I ever stayed in. The staff is poorly trained. Many problems.

The hotel employs a janitor who doubles as "security" who uses his "title" to bully guests. He is a mean man. The rest of the staff could care less and do nothing about it. The management is non existent and could not be reached at any time during our stay. The cleaning staff were sitting on the rug in the hallway eating chips and were in the way of walking to the room. Our room was not ready (after 3:00 p.m.) upon arrival. This after traveling cross country tired and just wanting to get settled, And twice our room wasn't made up until after 2:00 during our stay forcing us to leave again when we just wanted to rest. There were other problems that would take too much time to write. Shampoo, plastic cups, and hot cups were not replenished. Of all the employees we came in contact with, only one, the lady, Cathy, in the dining area was kind and considerate, helpful and was working hard at her job and making guests feel welcome. The room was not soundproofed and road noise was loud day and night. A homeless person slept across the street and was the first thing we saw every morning upon waking and opening our drapes. Breakfast, although free, was not that great. The food meant to be hot was cold every morning.
