Rude staff

My husband and I made our reservation the same day of the stay due to an unscheduled trip to Colorado. We were excited for the hotel and specifically requested a king size bed with a mountain view. The hotel was gorgeous at the foot of Pikes Peak, and the lobby was beautifully modern. However, upon arrival, (and after 9 hours and driving) we were met by a very rude woman at the front desk (who I believe was the manager). My husband and I are a young couple (26) and after the long drive we showed up in sweatshirts and jeans. The woman at the desk looked at us like we didn't deserve her respect, then handed me room keys for a room with a queen size bed that was city view. I disputed this, and verified that over the phone I had requested, and was told that I had reserved, a king sized with mountain view. After a little hesitation, the woman finally gave us a room with a king sized bed. The room was beautiful, but the mountain view wasn't the view I was expecting. She had put us in a room where we could see the mountain only if we pressed our foreheads to the glass and tried to crain our heads. As a young married couple, we are used to people looking at us with scepticism, but everytime we walked into the lobby this woman watched us and seemed to scrutinize us. It made for an uncomfortable stay, and we even opted against eating at the hotel restaurant due to feeling uncomfortable. Although we are young, we are respectable and can afford to stay in a hotel as beautiful as this one, but we definitely felt as though we were not welcome, and we will not stay again. Also, for such a great hotel, they didn't even offer free internet. We stayed two nights and have to pay $25 per night for internet.
