The Affinia Dumont is an excellent choice for families. The two bed rooms have a fully stocked kitchenette and plenty of space to be comfortable. The location is excellent - 1.5 blocks (a very easy walk) to a subway station, from where you can catch the #6 train uptown and be in Times Square in 15 minutes. In a five block walk, you are at the enormous Macy's on 34th street, among many other shops. With Dunkin Donuts next door, a market on the corner and a large market/pharmacy across the street you can affordably grab a quick snack or meal. The staff was helpful and polite and the facility was very clean.
