We stayed here for a week and overall, it was a good stay. One thing that was a disappointment was that none of the cafe/pool side bars were open. Only one restaurant was open for the whole hotel and room service was a pain. We ordered food at the pool a few times and it took almost 2 hours to receive. Some other guests ordered food and the restaurant messed up their order and the other guest demanded that they take our food because she ordered the food first! The poor server was flustered, myself and the other guests were upset. Eventually, the server worked it out but what a hassle! After speaking with someone at the front desk, I was given a $100 credit. Thats fine but they didn't fix the issue! They said its their off-season so they didn't have enough staff to handle the guests. Well, it was not OUR off season and they know how many guests are coming in advance so the excuse makes no sense. Also, housekeeping did a poor job. She would come at 5pm everyday and barely picked anything up. She just made the beds and Im convinced she just folded the towels that were on the floor and put them back on the shelf. Other than these two problems, the hotel was good. The spa was amazing! I thoroughly enjoyed it. I would recommend this hotel dispute the issues because it was a problem of understaffing. Hopefully, they will be properly prepared in the future "off season" months.
