Not worth the cost

The only reason I was looking for a hotel was for my son and I to do something special/different for Christmas. When I made the reservation, I was not aware of the additional $35 per day valet parking cost...nor was I aware that valet parking was the only option for parking. For a two night stay, parking alone cost me over $70 especially after you of course, tip. I have stayed at other Embassy Suites before, and this room did not compare to what I am used to and my coffee maker was broken. The two biggest reasons I chose this hotel for my son and I was because of the breakfast and the indoor pool. The breakfast was the only option that sufficed. The pool area was not very clean, the floor was very dirty and there were dirty towels left from other guests all over the place. The temperature of the pool was rather cold and my 3 year old son was too cold to swim in it. If I had to do it all over again, I would not have chosen this hotel.
