I stayed at this hotel for one week on business. Although I was on the executive level, the hotel was filthy and service almost non-existent. The rooms are old (wall paper peeling off walls, dirty carpets, nasty tile bathrooms with tub surface peeling off, dust everywhere, moldy smell in rooms, toilets that constantly run, constant draft from around door and windows). This property has a beautiful lobby with a bar and starbucks.....once you get to the elevator everything changes. This hotel is not worthy of the Hilton brand name and should be classified as a 2 start budget property (Motel 6 perhaps). This hotel was such a dissappointment and my colleagues all agree. It is blatantly obvious that no capital improvements or maintenance have been done in years. Putting a granite countertop in the bathroom and on the bedroom dresser while letting all the surrounding structure decline is apprehensive. Staying at this property really makes me question whether I trust using Hilton affiliates in the future. Obviously there are some budget or revenue problems at this property because they are staffed so POORLY. Room service trays in hallways at 8am when I left for meeting were still there at 7pm. Just walking down the halls is gross. Filth everywere. Incredibly dissappointed, although hotel is in a good downtown location.
