The good: Checked in before 3pm, beautiful hotel; modern; cool and classy decor. Beds were super comfortable and room was very spacious and immaculately clean. The bad: Our room was facing the street and VERY loud at night. We should have changed rooms but didn't feel like packing and unpacking at 3am. The UGLY: Terrible service. Everyone else had complimentary buffet breakfast, not included in our stay. An omelete and grilled cheese took 1 HOUR -after we politely asked the waitress to check. She was completely snotty, my food was cold and her response was she would "let the chef know". She didn't take it off the bill, the concergiere wouldn't take it off the bill and at check out we were told we had to call the Maitre D' for him to address it (of course, he wasn't "available" at the time). Ridiculous. That's the kind of thing that ruins the experience. No one accepting the blame, owning up and making it right.
