I stayed here on a recent trip to Tucson, where I have family in town. I decided to find a place right by the airport to make arrival and departure a breeze, and this place is right across the street. Like others mention, there is almost no plane noise. I had a two-room suite, which I guess is typical. There was a nice living room and bedroom, which were separated by a door. There was a TV in both the bedroom and the living room, which would be great for a couple who are staying awhile, and want to watch different shows or have different schedules. The TV's were older tube TV's though, in the archaic 4:3 format. Their cable/satellite service was fine, and included the NFL channel and free HBO, plus a usual assortment. There was a kitchen area and a fridge. The fridge was not listed as an amenity (Hear that, Radisson?), but the fridge and kitchen sink/bar counter were great. There were to work surfaces there, which were both nice marble. The dressing mirror, bathroom sink where in the bedroom, also with a nice marble counter. The bath had a full tub with shower and a toilet (but no sink--again, in the bedroom). There was plenty of storage for clothing and a bit of food. The staff was friendly and reasonable competent. The maid was great. The door lock broke my second to last day, however, and I had to get maintenance to break into the room. They had to break a glass panel in the door, plus a louvered slat. When he finished the lock, he left the broken louver, which meant people could look in through the door. I asked the front desk about this, and the clerk was pretty clueless. She gave me some drink and dinner certificates and offered to let me switch rooms. I told her I would just tape the louver in place, as that was easier than switching. So be warned, if you get that room, when you adjust the louver, one of the slats is going to fall out, and you'll be left in the same situation as I was. Oh well, despite this small bit of staff cluelessness, I would recommend this Radisson.
