This was a wonderful hotel, very clean and friendly. It was about a 15-20 minute walk from the train station. We got a map from the tourist station and they highlighted the route and we had no problems finding it. You have to cross about 4 bridges which can be challenging with luggage but that is applicable to most of the hotels in Venice. They had a nice restaurant, bar, courtyard, and was in a peaceful area away from all the crowds and tourists but still close enough to walk easily. The front office staff spoke pretty good English and were very helpful in explaining the boat system, giving suggestions on where to eat and how to get to the airport.
