This hotel was not comfortable or convenient.

After check-in we headed to our room. After a very inconvenient trip from the parking lot to the second floor room due to the stairs being on the backside of the building we unpacked. After unpacking we could not find the TV control. We called the front desk and were told we could either not use the TV or change to a room that had a controller. After several questions we were told to come to the front desk to get keys to the room with a working TV. They indicated that they did not have the time to bring the keys to us or help us move our luggage. I went to the front desk and retrieved the keys, went to the room and moved all luggage to the replacement room, and never had one inquiry if all was ok. Very sad as a little extra effort on their part would have gone a long way. Ultimately it did all match - the appearance of the facility, the service, and the overall condition of the rooms. Stay at a major chain in Taos.
