Stayed at better, but worth it if price was lower.

The room - first of all they have wireless internet now - no data port in the room - FYI - the wireless seemed stable and no issues. I've stayed in many hotels in San Francisco and the prices were ridiculous for this weekend, this one was still high in my opinion but was better than most of the other hotels. Besides that, the hotel is steps away from Bart/Muni which I needed because I have to limit walking, the lobby is nice and the staff are wonderful and make up for most of the shortcomings in the rooms. The room 1. The bed - hard as a rock - and with back problems that did not help. 2. Shower is small, barely enough room to bend over if you need to, admittedly I am not a small person, but it would be cramped for anyone. 3. Hot water took forever to come up to my third floor room, you have all these signs posted to conserve water yet I had to run the shower 10 min before I got hot water. 4. No AC and heat, if you needed it, looks like it's a radiator? You have to open the window to cool things down and the street people are NOT quiet at night - but the hotel does provide ear plugs in the night stand (no joke) I would not be adverse to staying here again if the rate was more reasonable.
