The location is good. There is a coffee shop, ice cream shop and McDonald's across the street. Santa Cruz Diner is within walking distance and highly recommended! The front desk staff during check in and check out could have been more customer service oriented. The quality and cleanliness of the room we stayed in needs improvement. The carpet in our room needed to be shampoo'd. The phone was visibly dirty with some kind of dried up fluid stain. The shower head and shower curtain was also visibly dirty. The water temperature would go from warm to extremely cold whenever someone else from the next room would use their water.
