This is our second trip to the Renaissance Esmeralda. This time we brought our teenage daughters, who got their own room. The first time we got a larger corner room, which was nice, but it was right by the self-parking, so not the best view. This time we got the pool/mountain view on the 6th floor, which was stunning! The pool is really big and there's a great pool bar as well. Service was very attentive. There were actually more people there than we thought for August, but chairs were plentiful. The only downside was there were a lot of little screaming kids in the pool, sometimes until 10:00 at night. It would have been nice to have an adult only pool. The resort was very nice. Cool places to get a drink. Breakfast was really good. A few little things I wish they'd give attention to: Wine glasses and highball glasses would have been nice in the room. Better coffee makers (we brought our own little Mr. Coffee maker) Overall, a great resort. Can't wait to go back!
