My partner and I decided to head up to Sedona on a whim and I am very glad we decided to stay at the Amara Resort. The staff were personable and friendly, the room was sumptuous and spotless, and the grounds were well-groomed and tranquil. We had breakfast both mornings on the resort's patio and enjoyed the food immensely. Complimentary yoga was a big plus each morning with Blair as our instructor. Within easy walking distance of shops and restaurants but away from traffic noise. My only (small) complaint was the amount of noise from the pool in the afternoon. Lots of screaming children made relaxing on the balcony difficult.
