The good: full sized kitchen appliances, people were friendly, the condo was a nice size, the waves were good. The not so good: the condo has a lot of ceramic tile in it; when it gets wet and sandy it is VERY slippery and could easily cause a fall. The front desk was not helpful. This started with them not being able to find our reservation. They had no clue about the camps and activities offered for kids. I guess they knew I was irritated with them because when I checked out, I was not asked how my stay was. The water park tickets and camps were not a value add for us. This was one of the reasons why we chose Bay Watch, but as mentioned, the front desk was not helpful. The only thing they could tell us was the kids needed tennis shoes for the horseback lessons and that the water park and camp were over thirty minutes away. There was no answer at the numbers we found online. I did find out from another guest that the free water park pass only covers part of the waterpark and you cannot upgrade the ticket for $10 to an unlimited pass. Instead you have to buy tickets for about a dollar each and rides are between 2 and 4 tickets. Wifi was hit or miss and when it did work, it was slow. There was a cord in the room, but my MacBook Air would not accommodate it. The really, really not good: There are on-sight activities offered by a team of interns. They let my five year old daughter play unattended in the baby pool for thirty minutes! They had no clue where she was! Then I asked for the phone number of the manager of the group.... It did not work. They apologized but I would not trust them with a young child again. The results in this case could have been devastating. Remember to bring your own: fly swatter, pans (the ones provided are very cheap and hard to get clean), paper towels, garbage bags and beach towels. Cleaning of the condos is on your own during the week of your stay, so remember to bring the supplies you will need.
