We very much enjoyed our stay here. We were scheduled for a cruise and stayed there a day before and found it so accommodating that we stayed 2 days after. Rooms were clean and nice. Had Internet if you have your own laptop. If you don't have a cable, they have extras at the desk. Power is 220, so even if you have an adaptor, you can't charge your US 110 electronics. You need to bring a transformer that will convert the 220 to 110. Wish we would have done this as we ran out of battery on our laptop. All ladies at front desk very nice and spoke good English. Everything within walking distance. Metro just down the block to the right. If you go out the front and turn right there are multiple eating places that are very good prices. Most eating establishments don't open up until later for dinner, not like us Americans who eat at 6 PM. Plan on 8 or 9 PM. If you go left out of front desk, you will run into La Ramblas which has alot of eating places, but you will pay twice as much for your meal there. Access to port just down La Ramblas which was 2 blocks away. La Ramblas is a pedestrian road with shops and vendor booths all along. So walking down it to the port was no big deal. There were things to keep you busy. At the end of the street you can catch the blue bus for 2 euros to the ship. Taxi would cost you about * euros so the walking and bus option is the best if you can handle the walk. You can get the buffet included in your room tab, but it is not worth it.
