Was recommended by someone who lives in Victoria. The best part of the hotel was the room. The bathroom was big and spacious and generous with Aveda product amenities. The staff were pleasant and helpful and upgraded us when I inquired. The really weak point was the breakfast. It was the worst continental breakfast I've ever had. Nothing healthy being offered ie. only 2% milk, full fat yogurts, and NO fruit except some apples. The juice offered was full sugar grapefruit or orange juice. They really need to step it up in the healthy choice offerings. The reception area looked worn and not nearly as nice as the pictures shown online. I wish there was a pool. For the price you pay, there should be. Location was excellent, close to all restaurants and main center of city. \nFor the money, I would rather stay at a bed and breakfast in Victoria. It is known for the best B&B's anywhere (I've stayed at a few there) and they offer amazing breakfasts.
