$ hotel in NYC (Brooklyn)

An inexpensive hotel within striking distance of Manhattan. It is right at an L line subway station (use Halsey St. St). L line is only one transfer from the subway accessed by the JFK Air Train (use the Howard Beach St; $5). We were surprised to find bagels and coffee in the morning. So you can fly to JFK, take the subway to this hotel ~ $100 (depending on season), have breakfast in the morning, and subway into NYC (and subway back to airport; allow 2 hours from uptown because of transfers). What's not to like? (A bit on the needed cleaning side (but not dirty). And seemed like a lot of deodorizer was used to try to cover cigarette smell.) I will likely stay again because of the $ and convenient location.
