We recently stayed at this hotel for a convention, and had a terrible experience. The front desk couldn't even give direction for us on how to get there from downtown. Then when we arrived the room smelled stale and smokey (despite being non-smoking) and the carpets were stained. The towels in the bathroom were rather small and felt very scratchy. And the only view from our room was of the freeway. The coffee they serve at breakfast comes from an instant coffee machine and tastes like sewage, and the rest of the breakfast wasn't much better. The only good thing about the hotel was the waffle-maker at breakfast. The bagels were small and bland, and there weren't much options for breakfast at all (no pastries either). I would certainly not recommend this place to anyone I know, as there are better hotels in the area with a similar price. Even if you can save a few dollars on this location, don't bother. It's surrounded by the freeway and a bad, lower-class neighborhood. On the other side of the hotel's parking lot was what appears to be a trailer park!
