The Best Western was conviently located across from the international airport. The rooms were extremely clean and well made every morning. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the food in the restaurant was good. If you stay try the spagetti. The sauce was very tasty, the meatballs a little hard but it was probably the best I had eaten for some time. The only disadvantage of the hotel is the distance from downtown. It runs about 10-12 dollars to go to Metro-Centro, which is the main new town shopping area. Plenty of places to eat there and shop. The ATM at the airport was only a walk across the street from the hotel. Both U.S. and local currency dispersed. A piece of good advice for the tired traveller who stays at this hotel., be sure to take advantage of the massage service there. They are expert and the cost is $35.00 an hour. I came home feeling much better than when I left. Best Western reasonable and good. I would recommend it to anyone travelling to Nicaragua. P.S. Adjustable (and resonably quiet) air conditioning in the rooms and at least 70 TV channels to choose from.
