When we went to check in, the clerk put the entire rooms cost plus parking on my credit card, it was only supposed to be the parking. The room was prepaid. The room was on the 9th floor, which is not a problem except for the fact that the elevator refused to stop at the 9th floor! We had to travel to the 8th and take the stairs up or to the 10th and take the stairs down. When we get to the room, the toilet is not only leaking water onto the floor, it is not even secured properly to the floor, it wobbles back and forth. If that's not bad enough, the shower curtain was covered with mold. The management tried to make up for it by offering us a free breakfast, free parking, and one free night. Most other hotels offer free breakfast and free parking. This hotels attempt to double charge us for our room coupled with a poor quality room that was difficult to get to, caused us to not enjoy our weekend as we had hoped. We will not be staying with this or any other Holiday Inn at any time in the near future. We advise others to avoid this particular hotel as well, and suggest strongly that travelers consider twice before staying at any other Holiday Inn as well.
