Customer service was horrific

We stayed for 3 nights. The neighborhood was "sketchy" and we did not feel safe. The room had a horrible smell. There were fruit flies in our sink (??). The carpet was soiled and dirty. You could hear the people above us and people RUNNING through out the building morning, noon and night. The thousands of FROGS kept us up all night long. We FROZE because the heater was so incredibly messed up that it was too noisy to turn on and the management blatantly REFUSED to supply us with an extra blanket. ("We have no blankets.") The front desk does not answer the phone. EVER. The internet does NOT work. The breakfast runs out an hour after it begins and the items are not replaced. This was not a 2 star even. I'd give it a zero if I could. There are a plethora of other 2 star hotels in the area. Next time I'll choose another.
