The rooms were done with marble floors and bath. They did an nice job with the renovation. The lounge areas around the pool and overlooking the Sea of Cortez were very comfortable and relaxing. The pool itself was very clear and large enough to accommodate everyone in the resort without feeling crowded. The best part was all the activity along the beach on the Sea of Cortez. Lots of activities for everyone: jet skis for rent, banana rides behind boats, fresh taco vendors and lots of sea shells look at that have washed up on shore. The staff at the hotel was very helpful and friendly. The food in the hotel restaurant was excellent. I cannot say enough about the wonderful experience we had at Penasco del sol Hotel. Overall a great place to stay!
