the hotel is beautiful, located near sites and nice shopping area. Hotel personal were very, very friendly and helpful. There was a train strike the day we were to leave and go south to naples, they immediately stepped in and got us flights out. The hotel people are the best. Breakfast is also great. I would definitely stay at hotel splendid royal again!! A 4 star recommendation from me.
