I visited the SpringHill Suites Norfolk/Va Beach July 6-10. The breakfast was not quite as appealing as the previousSprinHillSuites that I stayed at, but was better than the average "continental breakfast". Sausage, grits, waffles, cereals, oatmeal and scrambled eggs were the daily choices. I also noticed that it was not as clean as some other hotels that I have visited. The elevator had the same scraps of paper on the floor all week, I had to request that my shower curtain liner be changed due to the dirty soap residue left by the previous guest. This was done immediatley by house keeping. However the room was very spacious and the location right at the highway made it very easy to reach the resort area; which is about 15 minutes away, and downtown.
