I was a bit leary of staying in a 2 star hotel for a full week but this place really worked out for us. When we arrived at check-in, I asked the front desk gentleman if we could have a fridge in our room. (These, as well as microwaves and hair dryers, are available upon request) He didn't have any available, which I expected since I didn't request one ahead of time. Well, this pleasant gentleman upgraded our room altogether! We had booked just a 2 bed room and he put us up in the 2 queen room efficiency at no extra charge! We were thrilled since we were gonna be there a week and now we had a small kitchen and the room was very large. Plenty of room for 3 of us for a week and we didn't have to eat every meal out. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. One might just ask for an additional pillow as those weren't so great. Because the motel is affordable, the weekends fill up and can get a little rowdy with young skiers and boarders but the staff is quick to quiet down the loud guests. The location was also great if you're looking to be within walking distance to Heavenly and the casinos. We would definetly stay here again!
