Disappointed!

My girl friend & I booked 2 nights at this resort. When we arrived, we were told that our room was changed for one night. We booked a room that was oceanfront with 2 double beds, but got a room that was facing the street, 1 king bed and one child's bed. The desk manager told us that "everyone" gets this room for 1 night and then the next night they get the oceanfront room. Needless to say, we were really unhappy- spent much time discussing this issue with the desk- got nowhere. With no place to really go- we had to settle for this fiasco!!! The next day, we were told to have our bags at the desk at 12 noon- we had to repack- and finally, at about 2pm- we got the room we should have gotten for 2 nights. This was extremely unfortunate because the staff is basically very helpful & friendly and the food was great. Our oceanfront room was splendid- why couldn't we have gotten what we paid for originally. I will find it hard to ever return to this hotel- I don't trust them.
