When meeting and talking with the staff, the are very understanding, personable. They definitely know how to treat their guests.
We arrived on a Saturday afternoon to attend a 50th Class Reunion, a day before it was to be held. So we could get a goon night rest, for the festivities the following day.
My wife and I found the room to neat and clean, along with a TV, and enough furniture and closet space, it supplied our needs for a comfortable stay. The bathroom was clean, they supplied adequate towels, and amentities. If you had forgotten shaving, or other neccessary items, they offered replacements, gratus. We were impressed, that's service.
There was a small, but well maintained restaurant, in which we were served a complimentary breakfast. There was a limited selection, but adequate. We were satisfied, and definitely didn't leave hungry.
It's not elegant, but it meets all your needs at an affordable price. Would we frequent the Golden Gate Inn again? You bet we would.
