Stayed at the Marriott Cambridge for a long family weekend. The location is very convenient to the Kendall/MIT Subway station (directly across from the front exit). Short ride to the city or to visit the Harvard Campus. Great views of the city and the Charles River from the upper floors. Comfy bedding, clean room, concierge service for activity suggestions or directions. Fairly quiet location. Legal Seafood is a short walk away. Shuttle service to the Mall. Down sides: small indoor pool crowded with young children on the weekend. Internet service charge and so-so breakfast in MC2. If you are using a GPS for directions, it can be a little confusing as the hotel has two entrances. GPS may direct you to the front entrance. Go one block further and you will arrive at the parking lot, valet entrance. Otherwise, you may find yourself driving in circles! I would highly recommend a stay for its price, value and location.
