We needed a clean, comfortable, affordable, safe place with breakfast to stay one night, so that we could visit Hearst Castle. (5 minute drive). That is exactly what we got. We had stayed in another Days Inn that week, and saw their company mission statement regarding cleanliness, friendliness, etc. Both were great experiences. Room was very recently renovated....new carpet, paint, etc and very large. Furniture was older, but in good condition. Breakfast was more than expected for Continental. Cereals & toast in addition to the pastries, juice and coffee. Location is midway between LA & San Francisco, so ideal. Staff was nice. Only complaint was that the free wireless internet signal was too low in my room to use it. I did use it in the lobby.
