The best thing about the Anse Chastenet is the small, intimate size and the activities that are located on-site. They have a coral reef that you can snorkel by walking of the beach, fun mountain biking trails that you can also hike to see great views. They also have their own sail boat and the best scuba center on the island. Use of the beach is controled to a few hotels, and those staying at the Anse Chastenet have exclusive use of the nice beach palapas. The beach is never crowded and very clean. Their spa services were fantastic. The rooms are comfortable and tastefully decorated but not fancy - the view is what makes it luxurious. Every night has a different local music group playing in the bar for a taste of culture with your night cap. This is not the place to party till 3am.
The Anse Chastenet is the answer for anyone looking for the ultimate Caribbean get away with the right mix of everything and nothing to do. I would absolutely love to go again.
