First the Cons
1- bring your own plug converter. hotel charges 20 euros. i feel that they should provide this
2- internet can be accessed in your room on a flat screen tv. i find this difficult to use. otherwise, a desktop computer is available at the lobby. I prefer wireless connection in the comfort of my own roon
3 - shuttle runs on a limited hours. from 8-6:30pm more or less. cabs can be expensive from the center to the villa aprrox 15-20 euros. plus you must call the cabs in advance. impossible to hail it on the streets. bus is a good alternative. drops you off a minute away from the villa
4- breakfast is not included and costs 20 or 30 euros!
5- toothpast sucks
Then the Pros
Great service, gorgeous villa overlooking the entire Florence, peaceful, romantic
they give you a little "present" everyday --a chocolate or a candy, fresh newspaper in clear plastic bag, weather forecast, L'occitane toiletries!
It simply is perfect!
Bring your own converter
Know the bus schedules and cab contact number
Eat breakfast somewhere else. Caffe and brioche by the piazza is much better anway than a free buffet in the villa
bring your own tooth paste
And regarding wi-fi connection---who cares. rest your laptop for once
