Our stay here was wonderful. We had a rocky begining with the airlines (which the travel agency bent over backwards in assisting us) and the staff at this resort was extremely helpful. A few tips however to completely enjoy your stay :- 1. Have lots of US$1 for tipping staff - tip is included, but some of them really go out of the way for you to enjoy your stay (you may even want to pack a few 'thank you' items. 2. Tours BOOK THEM AS SOON AS YOU GET TO THE HOTEL- speed boating/snorkeling is exciting and very short, ATV - long and fun and you really see a village, rice plantation, rivers etc., however be sure to take lots of candy or money for the cute kids coming out to greet you. Saoma - this is one we will take on our next visit - its a day trip with snorkeling, sunbathing in a preserved island and ends with lobster dinner. 3. Breakfast is excellent - the choices are endless. Lunch is great - we had a grilled selection everyday as well as a variety of other things at the other restaurants. Dinner - the main dining halls are wonderfully decorated, the food is always fresh and the local food is different and interesting - You may not want to eat there every day - so opt for reservations at the different restaurants on location (not any extra money) they must be made in advance in the morning 9 - 11 I think there is Chinese, Italian, Mexican, French, and a Steakhouse (our favorite, the steak was grilled nicely). ROOMS WERE ALWAYS CLEAN. STAFF WAS VERY HELPFUL ENJOY!!!
