The hotel was fair enough but the staff was great. The hotel is about an hour and a half south from the airport in Cancun. I recommend getting a rental car-check with your insurance company to see if rental cars are covered otherwise I would suggest getting the best insurance the rental company has which was about $30/day. The view from the hotel is wonderful. There is a lot of touristy stuff to do nearby. The hotel never seemed crowded. The food was only okay but I can assure you that I never was hungry.
