I was overall satisfied with with the all-inclusive trip. I thought the hotel was nice and the staff very friendly and accomidating. The hotel even provided a birthday cake for my boyfriend. I did think the the price for the cake was expensive but it was a birthday trip so it was nice to have the option. I thought the room was very nice and we had a decent view of the ocean. I was disappointed in the lamp shades in the room-they had mildew all around the top of the lamp shade. Food was okay but its an all inclusive and I loved having everything paid for up front. We went off the resort to a locally recommended restuarant and I didnt think the food was any better than the resort and it cost MUCH more. So the value was in the all inclusive. Rented a jeep to explore the island as it is not very big so we were able to find some great secluded spots to pick shells and swim on our own. Baby beach was another great option. Loved visiting the sites and had a great time tubing by boat. Parasailing was a fun also. You can bargain these activities down. The sunset cruise is also a must. Good trip-my boyfriend loved his birthday in Aruba.
