Poor Experience

Stayed at the resort for 2 nights, 3 days and was highly disappointed. The room we stayed in was very outdated, bathroom fixtures that were amiss and the room overlooked rundown housing. We didn't realize this until the morning as we checked in late at night and it was dark out. The front desk told us that we'd love this room because it was in the back of the property and was very quiet. Not only did we have a poor view, but the rundown house had a few dogs and they barked all hours of the night. We worked with the concierge to schedule a jeep tour, she forgot. There is no daily housekeeping service for stays less than 5 days. So although it was good to conserve water by saving our towels, we wished we had known before and would have stayed at another hotel. We learned that the hotel had been taken over by another company 5 weeks earlier and that they changed their housekeeping policy but did not share that information with their guests. The front desk attendants also weren't prepared to answer many questions - whether the question was around directions - they 'didn't know' - about housekeeping services - they 'didn't know'. When asked how to print a document from the lobby computer to their printer - they 'didn't know.' Very disappointing stay. I would not recommend to others.
